Lakischa Smith
Lakischa Smith is a community wellness guide whose work is rooted in a deep belief in sisterhood, collective healing, and the wisdom of returning to our roots. Through her own lived experience and ongoing personal healing, she recognized how deeply women need spaces where they can be held, reflected, and restored—together.
Roots of Healing Wellness was born from this understanding. At its core is the belief that healing is not something we arrive at, but something we practice daily. Lakischa believes that nature heals, community heals, and that many of our answers live in the ways our ancestors once gathered, supported one another, and lived in rhythm with the earth and with truth.
At the heart of her work is the knowing that sisterhood is medicine. Historically, women survived, healed, and raised generations through unity, shared wisdom, and collective care. Roots of Healing seeks to restore that way of being—where women are seen, supported, and held without judgment, competition, or shame.
Through shadow work, emotional wellness practices, and culturally grounded teachings, Lakischa creates safe, intentional spaces for women to explore their inner world, release what no longer serves them, and reconnect with who they truly are. Her work honors the truth that healing is both personal and collective—and that we heal more deeply when we heal together.
As the creator of Moms of Color, Afro Yogi Kids, and the L.U.M.I. Social Club, Lakischa has dedicated her life’s work to nurturing Black families through storytelling, mindfulness, cultural remembrance, and community connection. Her approach is guided by compassion, transparency, and the belief that every person carries an inner light that can transform their life when nurtured with intention.
Lakischa’s sessions offer a safe, judgment-free space for women and children to explore their shadows, release emotional burdens, reconnect with their identity, and reclaim their power. Through grounded guidance and ancestral-centered practices, she supports healing across generations and helps individuals move forward with clarity, self-trust, and purpose.
Driven by love for her community and a commitment to collective liberation, Lakischa stands as a guide who does not simply speak about healing—she lives it. Her work honors the resilience, brilliance, and sacred journey of every soul she encounters.
